ACER JAP VITIFOLIUM
Grower Notes:

Acer japonicum 'Vitifolium' is commonly referred to as Vitifolium Fullmoon Maple or the Grape Vine Maple due to the large size of its leaves. It is a small, deciduous tree that has a refined, rounded canopy with large leaves that have shallow lobes which emerge bronze and turn green during summer. As the season winds down, it displays showy yellows, reds and orange in fall. Hanging flower clusters of purple flowers appear in late spring and are followed by winged seeds.

Vitifolium Fullmoon Maple enjoys partial shade and filtered light and is easily grown in moist, organically rich, acidic, well-drained soils. Be careful to not put it in a spot where the sun could scorch its refined foliage.
